This pump was built in 1900 by F. E. Meyers & Bro. Company in Ashland, Ohio.

For my application I omitted the auxiliary mounting plate on the top of the pump body.

Although the auxiliary mounting plate is gone, the dorsal spine for the plate's attachment is still present,

If you look closely you can see the drive shaft in the gap at the upper right of the machine.

This building is 140 scale feet long. Since the prototype was originally 1050 feet long some selective compression has occurred.

This was used as the source for the steam drive unit seen in he next two slides.

This was based upon the drawing seen previously. This is the CAD/3D file used for printing this unit.

The lower set of wheels run the drive shaft that runs under the building that, in turns powers the machines see in later slides.

The laying cart was not a powered machine. It is the only cart/machine in the structure that is not powered.

This unit is driven by a continuous loop of rope powered by the drive shaft under the building. The wheel with the drive hub is on the far side of the machine.
